Hi,  I'm introducing my new website and business  "Mahogany Rush"  Precision Sawmilling.

About 2 years ago I purchased a fairly sophisticated and versatile horizontal bandsaw milll from
a German Company SERRA. After looking, using and examining numerous types of portable sawmills this
is by far the best in the business. I am able to cut or saw slabs with fine accuracy, to a length of approx. 6.8metres
and a width of 1050mm, with a fine finish, which means little sanding and finishing, and a 2.4mm kerf. Besides slabs for benches, bars etc I can saw, beams, post and rail and larger house size timber, and geometric shapes.
To date I have sawn timber for many and varied customers be it small blocks of red cedar and silky oak to 6 tonne logs
of Red gum and Ironbark. This sawmill has enabled myself to cut many species of hardwood e.g. ironbark, redgum, spotted gum, ironwood, dead finish, brigalow, gidyea, bull oak, budgeroo, and flame sheoak, to name a few, and some of the softer species namely: silky oak, red cedar, camphor laurel, jacaranda, pine, paulonia and mango.

If I have the sawmill set up at one particular location, I usually request the customer to transport their  timber in small amounts be it logs or sawn billets to be resawn, to my site. If they have rather large tonnages, I will consider moving
the saw to their location.  Most of the species of wood mentioned above I have in stock in many shapes and sizes. If I can't supply what you want than I will do my best to obtain it elsewhere for you.
